Registered in 2019 by a group of development professionals with the aim to empower vulnerable, poor and disadvantaged populations in Malawi in the areas of food security, human rights, health & nutrition, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Early Childhood Development (ECD), education, HIV/AIDS more.

Organisational Objectives

CCDEF is a community-centered organization dedicated to driving transformative change through empowerment, advocacy, and collaboration. Our mission is to uplift vulnerable populations by addressing socio-economic challenges and promoting equity, human rights, and sustainable development. With a strong foundation of ethical practices, we strive to create meaningful and lasting impacts in the communities we serve.

CCDEF’s objectives are to build the capacity of vulnerable populations through food security, livelihoods, and human rights programs; advocate for equitable access to quality social services in key sectors; promote policies that create economic opportunities for marginalized groups; reduce the impact of communicable and non-communicable diseases; and mitigate the effects of natural disasters and social traumas, ensuring resilience and sustainable development.
